Using NairoProductAssistant

Assistant

The Assistant is Nairo’s workspace for open-ended analysis, document questions and exploratory review.

It is designed for work where a team needs to investigate a question, review selected materials or prepare an initial analysis before deciding whether a more structured workflow is needed.

What the Assistant is for

Typical uses include:

  • Answering generic questions
  • Answering specific questions across selected Library folders or documents
  • Summarising material before a formal review
  • Preparing notes, drafts or structured outputs alongside analysis
  • Exploring a question before creating a Project or Insight Table review

Users can return to past Assistant conversations where conversation history is supported.

How the Assistant works

Starting a conversation

From the Assistant, users can:

  • Enter a prompt to begin analysis
  • Select context, such as Library folders or specific documents
  • Use internet search for public context
  • Choose a model where model selection is available
  • Send the message and receive a response

Context is set when a conversation is created. Users should start a new conversation if a different document set is required.

Responses and references

Responses are generated with AI assistance.

Where citations or references are available, users can inspect the materials that informed the answer.

Citations and references help users review the output, but they do not guarantee that the answer is complete or correct.

Artifacts

Where supported, the Assistant can produce draft outputs alongside the conversation.

Examples may include:

  • Memos
  • Comparison notes
  • Structured summaries
  • Review notes
  • Draft internal outputs

These outputs should be reviewed and refined before use.

Conversation history

Past conversations can be listed and reopened where supported.

Titles may be generated automatically from the conversation content.

Users can retry a response or copy message content for use elsewhere in their process.

What the Assistant is not

The Assistant is not an autonomous decision-maker.

It is not guaranteed to be correct. Outputs require human review.

It is not a substitute for Projects when the team needs a persistent document workspace.

It is not a substitute for Insight Table when the team needs repeatable, comparable outputs across many documents.

Getting started

  1. Upload reference documents to the Library
  2. Open the Assistant and select the folders or documents relevant to your question
  3. Ask a focused question
  4. Review available references before relying on the answer
  5. Open a Project or Insight Table if the work requires a persistent workspace or structured review
